Oklahoma...where the wind comes....
I am leaving on vacation tomorrow!!!! Of course, I should be putting the finishing touches on packing and getting ready...but I am on the computer creating or trying to create a blog! I am on my way to Oklahoma. I can't tell you how many strange looks I get when I tell people I am going to Oklahoma on vacation. I just wait for the reaction. I really miss my family and friends! Unless Oklahoma grows tremendously, I don't see myself moving back. But there are a lot of great people that I miss tremendously and I can't wait to see them! Besides, where else could you ride a buffalo? I did have to quit saying that there is nothing fun to do in Oklahoma because my plans for my vacation include skydiving! More to come later!!!!
It's About Time I Guess
Everyone is doing it! That is what my friends tell me. All throughout our school age years, they drill it into our heads....don't give in to peer pressure. Like many other things, I guess I never quite got this lesson quite right...because here I am creating my own blog. As usual, I am late to the game. Many of my friends and family have their own blogs. At first, I thought that this is a fad that will fade away quickly so what is the point of it. Of course, I thought the same about American Idol. Halfway through the second season, I decided to start watching and was hooked. I hope that it is on the air for years to come!
It will be interesting to watch the evolution of this blog because I don't know that I have enough to say to keep everyone interested. I feel that I usually keep my opinions to myself (thus the name of my blog)...but of late, my friends don't seem to agree with that statement. In their eyes, I am very opinionated. Maybe I am? I guess we will find out.
