For Good
This is last post about Wicked for a while....I promise! I actually typed this post last night...but made a mistake and lost it. I wanted to post some of the lyrics from the song For Good (written by Stephen Schwartz) from Wicked. The more I have listened to the soundtrack, the more I have found that like the book, the lyrics, while on the surface appearing to be specific to the characters, have a deeper meaning that can be applied to life in general.For Good

Looking back there are so many people who have had an impact on my life and helped me to become who I am today. I think of many people and the profound impact they have had on my life and wish that I was able to keep in better contact with them. It is amazing how quickly time seems to pass....before you know it...five years have passed.
I also think back at all the people that have left this earth to go to a better place...and how we can lose loved ones in a second. No one knows when they leave their homes in the morning that they will make it back at the end of the day. Most likely if you are reading this blog...you are someone I know and love...and I thank you for the impact you have made on my life!
I saw the movie Pay It Forward on tv last night. Maybe this will spark something similar. Go out and tell the people that are important to you how special they are and what they mean to you!
