Another Job Offer
I got another verbal commitment for a job offer Thursday. I have two offers on the table. It is going to be a tough decision. Please pray I make the right one. More to come....
Shan and Jaymeson
They are on their way here. They should have left DFW and be on their way to Greensboro. I got to the hotel early and am going to grab some Olive Garden for dinner before picking them up. I can't wait for them to get here!!!!
Taylor Hicks
I started not to mention his name on my blog. He is the winner of American Idol season five. At least it proves to me the show is not rigged. Could a less marketable winner have been chosen?
It is a sad day in american when Ray Nagin is re-elected mayor of New Orleans and Taylor Hicks is voted American Idol. I'm glad Bush can't run again...because I think America would vote for him again too! Almost wants to make you take democracy away from the american public.
Oh well. That's my rant. There is always next year for American Idol. To the city of New Orleans...I'm sorry!
Today's quote...
Whoever laughs last....thinks slowest!!!
A little over the top...
One...I have to admit I think this was a good prank. I chuckled when I read the story. But don't you think trying to send these kids to jail for 20 years is a bit much....make the punishment fit the crime!

I see you are playing stupid again....looks like you are winning too!
Question of the week
Thought I would move this back to the top of the blog...I haven't gotten any comments and I think it is a good question. Thoughts?Tim and Tracey thought this would be a good question for the blog and I agree.
What would happen if our internal thoughts were not hidden (i.e. everyone knows what everyone else is thinking)? Would we think happier thoughts and thus make the world a better place or would it cause chaos to reign supreme?
Thoughts????
I thought this was pretty accurate...

I know you have seen this pic before...but with all the "awkward" pics I just posted....I wanted to remind everyone that I grew out of it! ;)

Lisa and I in May 2000. Tracey says that I was strugglin' in this picture. I told her that it is sad that my awkward years lasted into college. I guess age does become me!

My senior prom picture. I have found that people either love or hate this pic. I love the white tux with tales. The haircut needs work I will admit!

Grandpa, Tracey, and myself!

Aunt Robin sent me a few things that Grandma had saved...a few pictures, newspaper clippings, etc. I thought I would post a few. This is a clipping from The Daily Oklahoman when our collegiate jazz group went to sing in Carnegie Hall. What great memories!
