Taylor Hicks
I started not to mention his name on my blog. He is the winner of American Idol season five. At least it proves to me the show is not rigged. Could a less marketable winner have been chosen?It is a sad day in american when Ray Nagin is re-elected mayor of New Orleans and Taylor Hicks is voted American Idol. I'm glad Bush can't run again...because I think America would vote for him again too! Almost wants to make you take democracy away from the american public.
Oh well. That's my rant. There is always next year for American Idol. To the city of New Orleans...I'm sorry!

Loved this comment! You are soooo spot on about Taylor, Ray Nagin and Dubya...(ROTFL). I know AI is stronger than ever in the ratings, but I think its 15 minutes of fame is pretty much over. The "star" quality of the talent just wasn't there this season. They need another Clay Aiken!

HAHA I voted for Taylor Hicks a few times. But when Chris got kicked off I felt like I had been kicked in the stomach. I bet he felt that way too. I was surprised that Chris or Katherine didnt win. What the hell happened there?
Yeah, I actually didn't watch this season, but noticed that somehow a guy who looks like Jay Leno won the whole shootin' match. Odd day in Hollywood.
