What a week!!!
Wow. This week was quite the adventure.After our visit to Sea World last Saturday, we headed back to Jax to pick up my bag. After two days, I was finally able to take a shower and change into clean clothes. We hung out the rest of the weekend enjoying each other's company - it was nice and relaxing.
In contrast to relaxing, I attended a conference on Tuesday through Thursday. It was good and should bring some business into our company. We went out for dinner and drinks on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the dinner and drinks didn't settle well and Wednesday was tough. My counterparts decided I had probably caught a bug - at any rate Wednesday was not fun!
I spent Friday working in the hotel until Shan and Cody made it to Ft. Worth. From there, we went to eat at The Melting Pot before heading to Pete's Dueling Piano Bar for the evening. Pete's as always was awesome - there is nothing better than a Dueling Piano Bar.
Today, we spent the day shopping before heading to Stacey and Steve's wedding. The wedding was gorgeous. Good friends, good food...what more can anyone ask for!
